We asked Lavish about his career so far and his advice for someone considering a career in Data Analytics:
What first attracted you to Data Analytics?
I have been dealing with Data engineering for the past decade and I have realized the entire industry of Software is used for managing and using data. Along with my passion for Artificial Intelligence, Data analytics seems like a natural step towards my aspirations.
What does the current working day look like?
I currently work in the feedback experience system of Microsoft products, which helps me to directly create an impact to improve our products by improving how we triage and respond to our users feedback on a daily basis.
What advice would you give to someone considering a career in Data Analytics?
There are some rumours that you don’t need to understand programming and it’s effortless to become Data analyst. But like any other field, it requires focus, discipline and passion to be a successful professional in this field too.
Why is Data Analytics so crucial in business today?
Data Analytics has always been a crucial part of any business irrespective of the field. Since it required specialized software, hardware and expertise it was limited to bigger corporations or management consulting groups.But with the advancement of data engineering, the affordability of data oriented decision making has increased, leading to a huge demand in this field for qualified professionals.
